So the boy Plies has a song called "Bust It Baby," ever heard it? Well it sucks...
Sucks so bad they had to remix it with entirely new lyrics, new beat, and threw the boy Ne-Yo on it...instant radio hit! Amazing how that works ain't it?
As far as the substance of the song, I'm kind of at a point that I am about Usher having relations in the club. I'm impartial. Plies has never spit a verse on any song that he's been on thus far that made me ball my fist up, place it over my mouth and just say "ooooh," he's not that kind of rapper, he's a goon (miami for thug)...I guess that what he is, because he doesn't flow, he doesn't ride the beat, he just gives you real talk through his eyes and through his loins with this "Bust It Baby."
Like I said, the song sucks, so bad that they had to remix it with Ne-Yo. The track itself is hot, Ne-Yo's vocals are right, as they usually are because he's a vet in the hit-making department, but the things that Plies say on this song, just make it tasteless much like the Customer (Remix) with R. Kelly. His first line in the song is "If I wasn't married to the streets it'll be you/your lips is what make you so cute." Ok...
What is a Bust It Baby? I've been asked that several times and what it seems like to me is this is just another "Down Ass Chick" that Ja once rapped about (Where's Jaaaaaaa!?!?!?! Save me Ja Rule) or a "Shawty" that Plies rapped about with fellow Florida fella Teddy Penderass Down. The song never says that she is his number one woman, but more so along the lines that she has that good loving and that he can't wait to see her thus "speeding in the fast lane, pedal to the flo' mane, trying to get back to her love." Which is all understandable I get it! We all get like that at some time or another. I'm not really going to delve into this too much more but he (Plies) does say "...call her wet wet because she mess up all my bed sets."
I'm ending it on that note. I'd much rather know what you all think about the song and its lyrics.

Man, this attack on plies isn't fair. If you gon fry him, u gotta fry the other artists in his category such as jeezy, trick daddy, and most of the other rappers thats down south. Different music is for different context. Some music is suppose to have great lyrics and deliver a message and make u analyze like common, kwali, mos def, ect., Then you got those thats can just flat out spit but also get the commercial love such as hov, nas, luda, kanye. But then you have those thats just for riding around music, and you just love it for the beats like jeezy, plies, gucci mane, ect. So plies aint suppose to have hot lines. that aint his formula. This dude went gold in a time when record sales are struggling. He's puttin on 2 albums while my fav artists (like buddens) cant even see the time of day. He's making that money off of ring tones and shows, regardless if he cant make a single by himself. At the end of the day, its all about the money.
