Slip Ups

So this guy is talking to me about this girl he "hooked up" (that's Caucasian for had sex) with from the club. Not that I was particularly interested in how they met or what they even did his imagery had me on the edge of my seat. Once he finished telling me his story I was disappointed in him, not because he said she wasn't very attractive, not because he stepped out on his fiance to do it, but for the simple fact that he didn't wear a jimmy cap.

I am by no means an advocate for unprotected sex. It's condom sense! If you play with enough fire, eventually you'll get burned. "If yo' ass can't swim, you're bound to drizzown." It's actually quite simple. Now I'm not even going to front like every time I've ever had sex in life, it was safe sex. So I didn't immediately scrutinize this guy because that would be the pot calling the kettle black or in his case The Ritz calling the Saltine a Cracker.

I did ask him why he's so negligent and his response was "I NEVER use condoms." By this point I had fell out of my desk chair and was losing myself in the ceiling lights. When I got back up I asked him why and his reply was "For What? Why should I? That shit 'cramps my style.' Gotta die from something right?" "WRONG! Cramp your style!? Gonorrhea will cramp your dick!" is what I told him.

He laughed it off and said it's cool because he never wears a condom not even with his fiance. I'm so tempted to stereotype his ethnic group by saying that this is a cultural thing, but i won't. My reasoning for this is two other guys from the same demographic were high-fiving and praising each other during this conversation and I just couldn't understand it.

Now I'm gonna say this and I hope that it's loud and clear, AIDS is real people! It's not something that people made up - well yeah it was made up by people and I'm convinced until they come up with a better origin of AIDS than from a monkey. But what I mean is that the disease in itself is not an urban/suburban legend, people are really dying from this and idiots like him are partially the reason why.

If your not going to use protection at least be monogamous in your habits. This guy had no answer for me when I asked what he would do if his girl approached him about her being diagnosed with an STD and she has only had sex with him. If you practice monogamy and you don't use condoms, make sure ladies you're using some method of birth control unless you're mentally and financially stable enough to be a parent.

We are all entitled to a slip up or two or three in our lifetimes because we're human. The jack-hole who inspired this blog doesn't want to be a daddy and certainly doesn't want to use condoms with any woman he gets in bed with. I know he's not the only person with is ass backwards logic. I also know that I have a about 8 steady readers so far and majority of them are black people. There is already too many black people behind bars, or beneath ground, we don't need to lose more by being risky in our risque behavior...but that's just What JLB Thinks
